  1. Install, maintain, modify/enhance and repair both residential and commercial electrical systems; including fuse boxes, panels, transformers, lighting control, transfer switches, and switch gears and components; including fuses, lights, and wiring (Romex, M/C Cable, EMT, Rigid).

  2. Capable of troubleshooting (inspecting, testing, and diagnosing) issues with both residential and
    commercial electrical systems and components.

  3. Able to install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical; including computer/phone cable, jacks and
    plugs and test for adequate operation.

  4. Perform all work in compliance with current and local Electric Code, blueprints, wiring diagrams,
    manufacturer’s installation manuals, and standards.

  5. Complete required documentation of work orders, repairs, and service performed; including record material utilized on jobs.

  6. Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts .

  7. All invoice payments are due upon receipt; the electrician will be responsible for taking payment at the end of a job. Can send customer links via text or email too.

  8. Use the HouseCall Pro application to Clock In.

  9. Keep track of materials not used so Office Manager/Electrician Manager can return.

  • Looking for 3-5 years’ experience in the electrical trade. Must demonstrate knowledge and skill for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment for both residential and commercial electric systems. Must have complete understanding of all tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform electrical services.

WAREHOUSE MANAGER

(NO Electrician License Required)

Job Description: A Bickimer Electric Warehouse Manager is a “working position” or an “apprentice position.” As such, you will learn to identify all electrical materials, supplies, and tools by name.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate the supplies needed for every Job.Look at upcoming jobs and ensure we have enough materials to complete work.
  • Order/Reorder: Purchase supplies below the minimum or necessary for a job.
  • Supplyruns, if necessary.Facilitate: Run materials to Electricians in the field, as required.
  • Stocking:
    1. Clear off Material Table and update counts in inventory excel spreadsheet
    2. Clear off pallets inDetached Warehouse and update counts in inventory excel spreadsheet
    3. Clear off any new deliveries and update counts in the inventory excel spreadsheet
    4. Ensure all inventory items are in the Excel spreadsheet; add them if not.
    5. Test: Test Returned Materials at The Cube
  • Organization: Organize the shelves.
    1. Ensure all material counts are correct (what is on the shelf matches what is on the excel spreadsheet)
    2. Make sure bins and shelves are labeled
    3. Make sure the Large Tool Sign In-Sign Out Sheet is updated.
    4. Follow up with the appropriate person if a Tool has not returned within 3-Days.
  • Growth:
    1. make QR Codes for all inventory items and add them to the inventory excel spreadsheet
    2. We want to create an automated inventory tracking system with a report for reordering what is low and an excessive report.
  • Return:
    1. Bring back materials to Home Depot, Lowes, or the right vendor.
    2. Sell items we can not return on eBay, FaceBook Market Place, or other selling sites.
  • Vehicle:Review all Vehicle Maintenance Checklists tosee if anything needs addressing. Coordinate with Jon.

Restricted Activities:

  1. Provide electrical advice to customers.

Downtime duties

  1. Wash vehicles if it is in the shop
  2. Clean/organize vehicles
  3. Clean/organize the warehouse
  4. Strip copper using a wire stripper
  5. Take scraps to Scrap Yard
  6. Keep office/shop clean7. Sweep warehouse floors

Report to: The warehouse manager will report Michael (Owner)and All the other employees at Bickimer Electric LLC

Tools Provided

  • iPad to manage, record, and update inventory
  • Keys to warehouse
  • Vehicle during work hours

Training To Include HouseCall Pro (HCP)

  1. Time Tracking App tolog in and out daily

JOB REQUIREMENTS

As a WAREHOUSE MANAGER with Bickimer Electric, you must meet the following:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to identify all material by name.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and construction is considered helpful. Top warehouse managers will have two or more years of electrical experience.
  • Must have a work history and experience that demonstrates the ability to follow directions and learn new skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
  • Must be able to work with Microsoft Excel.
  • Must not have anyphysical limitations to performing duties.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Never be intoxicated or under the influence of any mind-altering substance while on the clock
  • Must have acleandriving record as will be using company vehicles.

ELECTRICIAN MANAGER

(Electrician License Required)

Job Description: As theElectricianManagerfor Bickimer Electric, you will have assigned electricians to oversee. Youwill be the customer service manager to these electrician’scustomers.Ensure everything is done to secure theelectricians’ success byproviding top-notch service and complete customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Good customer service skills.
  2. Liaison: Be the point of contact for all assigned electricians and their
    • Be available to all electricians while on the clock. Need reliable phone service. Answer all electrician calls. If you miss a call, call them back within 15 min. Cannot sacrifice or neglect one electrician for another.
    • Meet with inspectors
    • Vender management. Home warranty Get approval to complete jobs.
    • Talk with customers if the customer has questions, concerns, or review is less than 5-stars
  3. Be able to manage several electricians.
  4. Be able to multi-task.
  5. Organizer/Coordinator: STAY AHEAD OF YOUR ELECTRICIANS. Most importantly, is to keep the electrician’s moving safely and efficiently! Need to be able to multi-task and manage all the assigned electricians. Know your electrician’s schedule and Bickimer Electric’s schedule for the day and week. Possibly reassign or redirect electricians as needed. Check-in with Mike or scheduler every 2 hours as they are taking all new customer calls and making new
  6. Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
  7. Facilitator/Assist: Be your electrician’s Material provider. Run your assigned electricians’ material, so they do not have to waste time traveling. Reduce redundancy by getting Check-in for several electricians at the same time. Reduce time spent by anticipating and getting material needs for the next jobs. Return unused  
    • If need be, help electricians troubleshoot difficult situations, finish hard to complete jobs, and collect payment.
  8. Know the current and local National Electric Code
  9. Quality Control. Be the final check to make sure jobs are getting done on time and with the highest level of accuracy and professionalism.
  10. Documentation Control: Update electronic invoice’s with any notes and pictures. Make sure each customer has appropriate   Save the receipt for jobs and mark with invoice numbers.
  11. Be able to create job estimates
  12.  
  13. Customer Growth: Be involved with doing estimates and active in generating new business.
  14. Customer Retention: Follow up with jobs or customers when a task is completed or let them know what additional steps need to be taken to complete the
  15. Training: Help train new electricians. 
  16. Anticipate: Look at future jobs and make sure you have the appropriate material
  17. Make sure Bickimer Electric cannot do anything else to help the electrician’s help to satisfy the customer’s.
  18. Be the last to leave at the end of the day
  19. Work 40 hours work weeks
  20. First 90 days: Provide daily report of hours worked.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

As an ELECTRICIAN MANAGER with Bickimer Electric, you must meet the following:

  • Must have passed the Masters or Journeyman test – provide scores/proof of current license – to show knowledge of current NEC standards
  • Must have minimum High School Diploma/GED
  • Looking for 5+ years’ experience in the electrical trade. Must demonstrate knowledge and skill for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment for residential and commercial electric systems.  Must have a complete understanding of all tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform electrical services.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Never be intoxicated or under the influence of any mind-altering substance while on the clock
  • Must be able to manage and coordinate a team of electricians
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Be able to explain the technical solution in a non-technical way.  Up-front communication is highly valued in our company. 
  • Must have superior customer service skills. Be able to establish rapport and a bond with all customers is paramount.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to arrive at Wearhouse daily
  • Must be willing to work a routine schedule during the weekdays – Monday to Friday 8 am to 430 pm – overtime rare
