Hi, we’re Mike and Melissa, husband and wife team and proud owners of Bickimer Electric.
When we started Bickimer Electric in 2012, Mike had already spent almost a decade as an electrician and even longer in the construction industry shadowing his father – the founder of Bickimer Construction.
After attending the University of Kansas and earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mike moved to Jacksonville, Florida and became one of the most successful electricians in the area. With hard-won experience in business operations and a decade of experience as a certified master electrician, Mike knew it was time to bring his knowledge and expertise back home to Kansas City and Overland Park.
During significant expansion, the launch of our popular YouTube channel, and the addition of HVAC services, one thing has remained: our dedication to outstanding customer service and to helping our customers live their lives in greater comfort and safety.
In our personal lives, we are both board members of the Promise of Learning Foundation and Joseph’s Way – two organizations dedicated to helping secular and religious charities achieve their goals.
